Diaries from the Field: IntellaTriage Executive Launches Platform for COVID-19 Nurses to share their real-life, frontline stories as they battle agains the growing crisis.

IntellaTriage Chief Revenue Officer, David Rodriguez, recently launched a platform on Instagram (@covid_nurses) and Facebook to tell the stories of COVID-19 nurses around the world. David decided to launch the social media channels after listening to his own nurses talk about their firsthand experiences in hospitals around the country. Diaries from the Field has been publishing stories from nurses around the world as they continue to fight for patients who have contracted COVID-19.

“Our part-time nurses were telling us horror stories about the conditions in hospitals across the country and I felt these frontline nurses deserved a place to share their experiences with the world,” said David Rodriguez. “There is still a massive shortage of PPE and the general public needs to be made more aware of the trauma these COVID-19 nurses are experiencing. Hopefully Diaries from the Field can raise some awareness for these heroes.”

Diaries from the Field has increasingly gained attention of nurses around the world – receiving submissions and pictures from Germany, Brussels, India, Switzerland, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and numerous other countries. Marie Claire United Kingdom featured the platform over the weekend, highlighting the COVID-19 nurses and doctors who cannot stay home with their families during this difficult time.

In addition to David’s effort to raise awareness for frontline nurses through Diaries from the Field, IntellaTriage is also dedicating resources to helping providers in the Nashville area. This week IntellaTriage donated 250 meals to Ascension Saint Thomas’s Midtown location to support nurses working long hours in tough conditions. “Even though we have nurses all around the country, we still wanted to try and support our local community in Nashville,” said Daniel Reese, CEO of IntellaTriage.

Diaries from the Field was started to raise awareness for the COVID-19 nurses, doctors, and all those who continue to treat patients suffering from COVID-19. The stated goal of the platform is to highlight the seriousness of the disease to the general public.
