As Director of Clinical Operations, Carla manages over 200 remote nurses across the nation. She draws on her expertise in hospice and home health, proven leadership skills, and operations management track record to support the company as it grows. Carla has been a registered nurse for 30 years. Her experience began in pediatrics and NICU but quickly transitioned to LTC and community health nursing. She has been in the hospice industry for the past 20 years, supporting patients in various roles, such as case manager, on-call nurse, admit nurse, ED, and AVP. Carla has opened new hospices, been a team lead in acquisitions, and been involved in all parts of hospice operations. Carla firmly believes that hospice has been her calling in this life.
Outside of nursing, Carla enjoys spending time on the lake, is an avid sports fan, and loves all things family-related. She was born and raised in Alabama and has been in Nashville for eight years, and she and her family love it. She is married with three daughters – their youngest is a sophomore at the University of Alabama, so they are essentially empty nesters – and loving it!
